Shake Well First
The fragrance oil can settle. A few good shakes before every use keeps the scent consistent from the first spritz to the last.

For the Room: Spray Center, Away From Your Face
Mist into the middle of the room, not directly at a wall or piece of furniture, and keep it away from your eyes and face.

For Linens: Hold It 8 Inches Away
Don't spray point-blank. Hold the bottle about 8 inches from the fabric so the mist settles gently rather than soaking one spot.

Patch Test Anything You Care About
Spray a hidden corner — the underside of a hem, a pillowcase seam — and let it dry before spraying anywhere visible.
What Not to Do
Don't spray it directly on your skin — it's formulated for air and fabric, not as a body spray. Don't use it around children or pets. And don't spray delicate or dry-clean-only fabrics without a patch test first — silk, suede, and some light-coloured textiles are the ones most likely to react.
