What Is A Private Label Candle?
A private label candle is made by a manufacturer and sold under your brand name. You choose the scents, the vessel and the label. We handle the pouring, testing and finishing. Compared with making candles yourself, you skip the equipment, the safety testing and the trial and error, and you can focus on marketing and selling.
What You Can Customize
- Scent: choose from our tested fragrances, or develop a custom signature blend that no one else sells
- Vessel: an 8 oz tin or a 10 oz vessel, in colours such as white, cream or matte black, or bring your own vessel (we've poured into client-supplied ceramic vessels)
- Label: a custom label featuring your logo, using your artwork
- Seasonal editions: add a holiday scent alongside your signature candle
How To Choose Your Signature Scent
Your first scent sets the tone for your whole brand. Match it to your aesthetic and your customer. A cabin-luxe, wool-and-pine brand suits sandalwood, patchouli and musk. A leather-and-mahogany scent feels rich and sophisticated. Oud reads elevated and giftable. A seasonal evergreen and warm spice makes a good holiday companion.

The Private Label Process
- Tell us about your brand. Share your brand name, style, target customer and launch date.
- Pick scents and vessels, or send your own. We recommend options that fit your look and budget.
- Order samples. Finished candle samples are $25 each, and you can request different vessel colours to compare.
- Send your artwork. We share label specifications and a template. If you need design support, tell us.
- Confirm your quote and first order. Our standard minimum is 12 candles per set, with branded (labelled) sets starting at $85 per 12 for 2 oz tins. Larger and fully custom runs are quoted on our wholesale candles page.
- Launch. Plan your timeline backwards from your launch date.
How Much Does It Cost To Start?
Your cost depends on scents, vessel size, quantity and whether you develop a custom fragrance. Samples are the cheapest way to test a direction before committing.

If you want candles on shelves for the holidays, start early. Order samples first, approve your scent and label artwork, then place your order with enough time for pouring, curing and shipping. Ask us for a realistic timeline for your date.
